About Zwiers Communications

Much of the work at Zwiers Communications happens before anything is written or published. The focus is on supporting leaders during moments of change—policy decisions, crises, growth, or increased visibility—and helping them think through how those decisions will land with employees, donors, customers, and the public.

The goal is communication that’s honest, well-timed, and aligned with the realities inside each organization.

Nicole Zwiers, MA

I’m a senior communications strategist whose work spans nonprofit, technology, and professional services organizations.

My experience includes leading communications during national rollouts, policy changes, and high-visibility situations—when timing, tone, and internal alignment mattered as much as the message itself.

I’m known for stepping in early to help leaders think through what to say, when to say it, and how decisions will land with their employees, stakeholders, and the public.

I also serve as an adjunct professor of communication, teaching public relations, crisis communications, and advanced strategy. This role continually sharpens my approach, and introduces me to the next generation of thoughtful communicators!
